Extended Day Services is offering a full-day Summer Camp including swimming, field trips, on-site special days, sports, cooking, arts and crafts, tournaments, and a fun reading and math review for each grade level!

For Whom:  Students entering K through 7th grade in September 2013

Where:  Upper St. Clair, South Park, Peters Township, South Fayette, Chartiers Valley Elementary Schools

Dates:  Friday, June 7 through Tuesday, August 20

Trucks For Maddox will be kicking off their 1st annual toy drive by participating at the Touch-a-Truck event sponsored by the Junior League of Pittsburgh. Come sit in our backhoe loader and place a truck in the front bucket! The proceeds from this event will supplement our toy surplus in preparation for Christmas 2013.

Aspiring young chefs and little foodies are invited to get a taste of just how fun fare can be at Simon Kidgits Club Lil Chefs, an annual Simon® malls event designed to get kids learning about the craft of cooking and all things food. This one mile walk/wheel will raise funds for Easter Seals services, drive awareness of issues affecting the disability community and help to change the lives of individuals and families living with disabilities. The registration fee includes an official Walk With Me t-shirt, all day admission into the park, light refreshments, entertainment, children's activities and more.

Sunday, May 19 - Shoot for a Cure Charity Ice Hockey Game

Cheer on your favorite local celebrities and retired NHL players of Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey when they take on the Pittsburgh Metro Firefighters in a hockey game to support the Mario Lemieux Foundation Center for Blood Cancers. Activities include a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction, Chuck-a-Puck, and Door Prizes. All Proceeds will be donated to the Mario Lemieux Foundation Center for Blood Cancers in the name of our friend, fellow firefighter and long-time hockey player, Bob Wasik.

Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 - The Total Music Experience Camp

This day camp is designed to give your beginner musician a taste of what we offer at David's Music House. Students will be grouped by ability and age and visit stations around our space exploring recording, singing, performance, voice and ear training, and collaboration. These mini classes will commence with a recording of your student on a CD to bring home. Students will even design their own CD case! A great experience for students who know how to play an instrument, or students who are curious about the process.
Where: David's Music House 1011 Waterdam Plaza Drive McMurray, PA 15317
When: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (arrive early day 1 for completion of tuition)
Who: Ages 6-18. Students who play instruments of all types, or who have no musical background. Each station will be designed to accommodate all levels of musicianship.

Cost: Each Camp is $125 per student. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at sign-up. The remainder of tuition is due on the first day of camp. Checks/discover/mastercard/visa accepted. Checks made payable to David's Music House.
For more info: Notebooks, CD's, and CD cases will be provided. Students should bring instruments they are comfortable playing. A snack will be provided mid-session each day of camp. Water bottles are welcome but hot drinks and other outside food and beverages are discouraged unless certain dietary restrictions apply. Food allergies should be made known to teachers in writing the first day of camp.
